How to Apply Lashes
How to Apply Lashes  1. Firstly, measure the length of the false lash to make sure it fits your eye shape.  If the strip needs be shortened, cut the outer edge off with small nail scissors. 2. Take both edges of the false lash and bend them in to create a C shape and hold for a couple of seconds.  That’s the best way to take out the straightness and ensure it molds to our curved eye shape and stays put without the corners lifting up. 3. Apply a high quality glue  for long lasting results, not the glue that comes with the pack! You can squeeze straight from the tube onto the strip. Place glue on a cotton bud and glide it across the lash strip. 4. Wait 25 seconds or so for the glue to become more sticky, before placing onto your own lash line. Blow on the glue or, gently wave the lash around in the air. 5. Apply the lash to the base of your natural lash line on top of your  lashes, not on the eyelid at all. The glue should dry clear. 6. Apply mascara last so you can build on the natural lashes […]

The Perfect Foundation
The Perfect Foundation The perfect foundation should look smooth and silky and vanish into the skin without a trace. It will cover any redness and pigmentation. It is always best to try before you buy its needs to be the perfect shade and texture to your skin. Make-up Artist Tamara says “It is best to go one shade warmer than your natural skin tone.” Always choose a foundation with 30 SPF. Your foundation should last the duration of the day without needing to reapply if done correctly. Do your research on the best foundations, experiment and find the right one for you. Some of my favourite’s include Ella Bache, Laura Mercier, Chanel, Bare Minerals ans MAC. Before applying a new foundation have a clean and moisturized face. ALWAYS check what it looks like in the natural light. Foundations are designed for oily, dry, mature, normal, and sensitive skin. If your skin is oily look for words like “oil free” or “oil control”. Women with dry skin should look for moisturizing foundations like “moisture rich” or “hydrating” HOW TO APPLY FOUNDATION- 1. Begin with clean hands and a clean face. 2. Apply a moisturizing sunscreen and primer and set the foundation. […]

Smokey Eyes
Smokey Eyes Smokey Eyes is one of the latest make-up trends. Mastering the art of smokey eyes is simple the main trick is blend ,blend, blend. Step 1- Apply a cream concealer onto your eyelid. This creates a smooth canvas for your eyeshadow. Step 2- Sweep over a powder this will minimize any creasing and create a soft application. Step 3- Take a black eyeliner and trace the top lash line from the inner corner to the outer corner, using the same pencil line your lower lash line. You can create a very smokey blended look by smudging the liner using a blending blush (small tip brush). Step 4- Sweep the lightest colour across the entire eye lid, you should work with three colours to create smokey eyes. Step 5-Now take the medium shade and start to blend it from halfway across the eyelid. Always blending upwards and outwards. Step 6- Sweep the darkest shade into the outer corner of the eye this makes the colour intense and blend using quick fast strokes. Step 7- Highlight your brow bone with a lighter shade, this creates contrast. Step 8-Add a darker shade of shadow over the pencil along the bottom line […]
